1. THE BRIEF MEETING
The design process starts with a briefing meeting with the client which is an initial opportunity to discuss the project in detail and learn about the their personality, lifestyle, tastes and requirements. Based on this initial meeting, we propose you a scope of works which is a package of services we will provide for the project and an a fee proposal.
2. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The next stage of the design process is the concept development which comprises the design analysis, CAD drawings showing space planning and furniture layouts, colour schemes, sourcing FF&E (furniture, fittings and equipment), floor, wall and window treatments, fabric samples and finishes, as well as detailed schedules and specifications, bespoke joinery and lighting plans. All schemes and samples are presented to the client for discussion and approval.
3. PREPARATION OF COSTS
Once the design scheme is agreed we prepare a detailed cost plan which includes the price of every element of the scheme and present it to the client for approval. Wherever possible, we will pass on trade prices on sourced items and materials.
During the procurement stage we purchase the sourced items on client's behalf. We have an extensive list of trusted high-end suppliers and specialist artisans we work closely with, in order to provide the client with an outstanding design experience.
5. IMPLEMENTATION / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
These are the final stages of the project when we ensure that all purchased items are delivered on time, handled and installed with great care on site. We oversee every detail with close attention making sure we deliver well executed and remarkable results.
6. DRESSING / HANDOVER
Once the implementation is completed, we schedule a full cleaning of the site followed by the installation of soft furnishings (window treatments, rugs, cushions etc), accessories and prepare it for handover.
