We were asked to develop a sophisticated yet serene scheme for this South of France apartment with interesting architectural features, located next to the charming village of Mougins.

The main challenge was to upgrade the outdated built-in furniture throughout the space while preserving the architectural details and heights of the space. Thus, we filled it with comfortable seating upholstered in luxurious velvets and textural weaves to create an exciting contemporary interior, perfectly adapted to the client’s lifestyle and personality.

A mix of noble natural materials such as blond wood contrasting with the re-edition of Jean Prouvé’s iconic Guéridon table in solid smoked oak, leather and abaca wall treatment, were chosen to create an effortlessly sophisticated ambiance. The outcome is a space that puts on display a beautiful fusion of soothing colours and textures with stylish accessories and bespoke soft furnishings that capture your attention throughout.
